Warzone 2 DMZ: Boating And Entering Guide

The Crown faction was added to Warzone 2 DMZ with the release of Season 2, and many of its missions task players with venturing into different exclusion zones. Boating and Entering is a particular mission centered around the Waterways of Ashika Island, and requires you to locate and secure a specific mission item: the Building 21 Experiment Hard Drive. Though this item may seem miscellaneous at first, it is vital that you secure it in order to complete the final mission, Data Wipe.

Boating and Entering is the Tier 4 Story Mission for the Crown faction, and requires you to fulfill three objectives in total. These objectives are to enter the Ashika Island Waterways, reroute at least 9 electrical breakers in the Waterways within 3 minutes, and then extract the Experimental Hard Drive from the marked cash. Doing so will reward you with the Hazardous blueprint for the M13B and 30,000 XP.

To complete the first part of Boating and Entering, you must enter the Waterways. The Waterways is a subterranean portion of Ashika Island and can be accessed from several different points of the map. The most straightforward way to enter the Waterways is to head to any of the main entrances - located on the north, southeast, and west portions of the map.

Though entering this location in any way, shape, or form will fulfill the first objective, we recommend heading to the north-most Waterway entrance to fulfill the second stage of this mission.

To complete the second stage of Boating and Entering, you will need to reroute at least 9 electrical breakers in the Waterways within 3 minutes. Before you begin this task, we recommend clearing out the Waterways of all Shadow Company soldiers (along with the two Juggernauts), as they can be quite the hassle to deal with during a time-sensitive task. Once done so, head back to the north-most entrance to the Waterways. You will find the first electrical breaker on the left side passageway, just next to a wooden crate. Flipping this switch will sound an alarm, thus marking the beginning of the 3-minute countdown.

Once you have flipped the first switch, cross over to the right-hand side of the waterway tunnel. Progress up the right passageway until you find a single white door that leads to a small room. Head inside, and you will find the second breaker in the right-hand corner of this room.

Now exit the room and progress further along the right passageway – ignoring the first zipline you come across – and continue following the path until you reach a second zipline leading up to the surface. Head up the zipline to bring yourself to the third breaker.

Once you have hit the third breaker, head back down to the waterways and continue progressing along the right passageway (heading towards Town Center), until you come across a set of stairs leading down to the water. This is where you will find the fourth breaker.

Once you have interacted with the fourth breaker, head a little further up, past the first set of stairs you just encountered, and then cross over to the opposite passageway. You will find the fifth breaker on a wall that faces toward Town Center. Flip this switch to secure mission progress.

Continue past the last breaker and follow the passageway until you reach a staircase that leads to a walkway to the other side of the tunnel. Progress up the stairs and follow the walkway, taking the right staircase downwards. You will find a second set of stairs just underneath the walkway, which is where you will find the sixth breaker.

Interact with the sixth breaker, and then progress just the dock situated just beyond it. This is where you will find the seventh breaker. Interact with it to secure mission progress.

The second to last breaker is situated just to the left of Waterways Dead Drop, which you can easily find by progressing along the pathway leading from the Ashika Island Bunker.

Finally, still sticking to the same pathway, progress toward Port Ashika. You will find the final breaker inside a cubby along the way to this location. Reroute the final electrical breaker, before 3 minutes are over, to fulfill the second objective.

To fulfill the third and final objective of Boating and Entering, you will need to extract the Experimental Hard Drive from the marked cache. Now that you have rerouted the 9 electrical breakers, a Legendary Supply Crate within the waterways will be unlocked. This Supply Crate can be found just outside the entrance to the Ashika Island Bunker, which can be accessed by swimming through a pipe to the right-hand side of the main bunker entrance – located next to Waterways Dead Drop.

Open up the Supply Crate, take out the Experimental Hard Drive, and then proceed to the nearest extraction point to complete the Boating and Entering Faction Mission.
